Who said kid stuff? I wouldn't put the marvel cartoons mentioned in that category although they are relatively morally unambiguous.

    Uh, you did?

    "Pre teens and young teens."

Just sayin', that's not what they're shooting for now. They're shooting for an older crowd than the old ABC Family did.

I am digging into the comic boxes to find my old Cloak and Dagger number 1 comic.

End of the trailer says it is coming in 2018. I wonder if it will be paired with a possible 3rd season of Shadowhunters?I wouldn't worry about it being on Freeform. I think they're doing a good job with Shadowhunters. Not as edgy as, say, Magicians on SyFy, but not a little kids show.

They also have Stitchers, which would be another good match for this...

I wonder how many episodes are in this first season. I watched the first two episodes and mostly liked them but they seemed kinda slow developing if there are only going to be 10 or 12 episodes.

Wow, didn't give it much of a chance. You didn't even get to the super powers reveal.

I watched the first episode... A bit slow, but it wasn't bad. Basically just the back story of the two main characters. It looks like they filmed at least some of it in New Orleans, where I'm from, so it was nice to see.

I gave up halfway through the second episode. Both of the main characters kept having bad things happen to them (e.g. the guy's brother got shot when they were kids, the basketball game where the guy kept getting fouled, the girl's mom stole her stash, etc). If there's some indication that there will be some vindication, something good that happens to make up for the bad stuff, it makes for an emotional payoff that is worth sticking around for, but all I saw were people who kept trying to do the right thing (well, right-ish, the girl was pretty moral for a grifter) and getting screwed over. If I want to watch bad things happen to people, I'll watch the news.

Typical teen drama garbage I agree Bill. That is also why I never bothered with that Marvel show on Hulu. I stick with Shield on ABC and the movies.

Frustratingly slow, particularly if it's only 10 episodes. Two episodes and they still don't have their powers figured out.

Lead actors are OK; really like his mom. Seems like story arc is going to be exposing Roxon's misdeeds redeeming her dad and proving/getting justice for his brother's murder. Get on with it already.

Not really. They've had a couple of encounters, but they've never met.
