Clearing Program Information, How Long?

    My 100G Samsung has been having near constant lockups and reboots, so I decided to clean it out before I tried replacing the HD. It's been sitting at the "Clearing Program Information & To Do List..." screen for almost 24 hours now with the red light blinking. The HD was full, and we had about 40 SPs. How long should I let it go before I just pull the plug?

    It shouldn't take 24 hours. Time to pull the plug and keep your fingers crossed.

    Probably time for a new hard drive, but pulling the plug and starting it back up can't hurt anything at this point.
