Chuck vs. the Cat Squad OAD 2/14/2011

It's almost like they thought having the C.A.T. Squad was enough.

And hey, they were almost right!

 

Jeez, Alex dumped Morgan like a burnt biscuit. Way to stand by your man, girl.

I guess I'm supposed to remember the Morgan's CAT Squad vixen, but I don't.

 

Lots of cat themes on TV.

Cat on House.
9 lives on Harry's Law.
Cat squad on Chuck.

All on the same night.

I was waiting for them to make the 'Chuck's Angels' joke, but I guess they didn't want to go THAT obvious.

 

The Cat Squad. Worth a look.

All in all, it was the best choice on the TiVo last night. I had picked out the ditzy Cat as the traitor - a little to easy if it was going to be the obvious choice. And poor Chuck, always trying to help and never appreciated - or he messes it up.

 

This almost had the "possible spin-off" feel to this episode. If Chucks ratings were higher of course.

 

the only Chuck spin-off I'd watch would be a Casey show with his little buddy sidekick Morgan.

 

I don't know, I think they both work much better as supporting characters than they would as the entire focus of a show, week in, week out...

 

I was surprised one cat-related line made it through Standards and Practices...

I thought this was a really weak episode. The whole concept of the Cat Squad was just really, really lame. Chuck is really starting to lose it's draw for me, it just doesn't seem to click the way it once did.

I love the parties these people always have, with a bunch of unknowns wandering around as friends.

 

Guess you never heard of Charlie's Angels. It was obvious it was a total ripoff of that.

 

Of course I have, and of course it was. It just fell flat for me is all. Not to mention, there were three of Charlie's Angels, not four.

 

Kind of like The Lone Gunmen.

 

There were six, actually.

 

One of them was Bosley

 

I though Mircea Monroe looked so much younger (and shorter!) in this episode than as Morning in Episodes...
