As long as we get to see more of Captain Awesome, I'll be happy. :D

This was yet another show that I liked a lot more than I expected to. I loved the opening sequence with Bryce escaping from the facility... very fun. For me there were several LOL moments. It's worth keeping for a while. They just need to figure out how to fix Adam Baldwin's hair. It just looked weird.

I'd give this a solid meh. However, I'm gonna keep the SP to see how things go with Adam. That part looks amusing.

The free running in the beginning was kinda stupid IMO.

Are script writers really that out-of-touch that they think geeks Chucks' age would have ever used TRS-80s? Maybe Chuck was orginally conceived as 40-something nerd, but the producers realized that would miss their target demographic. Also, why change the name o fthe game from Zork to Zorg?

I'm only 29 now and I've used a trash-80. Granted, I was fairly young at the time, but still.

Although when he talked about it later, it was clearly "Zork"...

I believe Jewel got hers fixed recently.

That's exactly what I told my wife.

My wife & I both liked it enough to watch again next episode.

Used them often. Used on in typing and accounting class. Had one at home for a summer. I could make my name repeat itself all across the screen.

Oh, and yes, the hot chick's teeth aren't perfect, but I think it's her lisp that is the most distracting. Not too distracting. It's just noticeable.

After reading this thread, I have some sympathy (just a tiny little bit) for television executives whose job is to decide if a show will be cancelled, and for advertisers to decide whether to buy a spot on a show. I mean, we've got "it rocks" to "it totally sucks." Bad teeth. Lisps. Writers who don't get the "geek". You guys are so fickle. :)

I like it - I hope it survives, but knowing my record of liking shows, it will be cancelled very soon. What a shame!

Oh, he escaped from the facility, all right.

He just didn't escape the parking lot. :)

I just watched the pilot episode yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It was tonge and cheek and fun to watch. I really like the cast, they seemed to gel very well.

Wow, I guess I didn't pay enough attention 'cause I didn't notice at all.

I had to go back to check it out and now that my attention was drawn to it, I still didn't find it distracting.

Probably 'cause I would be in "sharp knees" territory if I did say anything about it. :D
