I was able to watch the pilot episode of NBC's Chuck tonight...legally. Blockbuster Online has a Preview DVD available for rent-by-mail that includes the pilots for Chuck, Journeyman, and Life. Unfortunately, they only had a 2 minute teaser of Bionic Woman, which is the show I really wanted to see. Anyway, I had no idea what Chuck was about before watching it. Based on the picture, I thought it was some silly office comedy. Now I see they're going more towards the Action/Comedy route. I "think" I like the show, but I'm not sold yet. The government agents are silly cardboard characters, which really took me out of the storyline. I enjoyed the show, but I don't know if I'd want to see a whole season. So many things happened with no explanation. First, since they have a computer that has all this info, why would they need Chuck still? Why was the email program able to place all that info in his brain? Why is CIA and NSA fighting about this? How does a CIA agent get away with throwing daggers at NSA agents and not get in trouble for that?
