I'm surprised there's no thread for this yet.

I liked the episode. It had its funny moments (Sarah making Chuck's flash face, the wedding planner turning things around on Chuck on the Super Shuttle.)

Is Super Shuttle a new sponsor? They sure mentioned it quite a bit.

I was surprised how calm Alex's Mom was when she found out Casey was alive.

I just watched this last night and yeah, I thought it had some good moments too. One was no Ellie. I really enjoyed Sarah's dad. He stepped up to help her out when he was needed (talking the guy down in the garage) but didn't stick around long enough to cause pain.

The Super Shuttle thing was fun but I wondered why Chuck took the handcuffs off when they got out. I was waiting for the girl on the phone to turn around and start filming it for youtube.

I liked the whole Casey and Kath bit. Nicely done.

I thought this was well done and I kept thinking how I really appreciate, with all the silliness, how well the show is written and how you can't help caring about each of the main characters. And as I always say, they make such awesome use of my surrounds :) There was one scene where Sarah's dad is in the next room speaking and the only place the voice was coming out of was my right rear speaker. It as just an awesome effect.

    And I think Casey's wife (?) is a hottie

Good episode to further a few storylines but terrible episode if left to stand on it's own. The wedding planner stuff was pure crap.

Really? I thought it was a good episode. They tied the wedding planner plot with the CIA by using the Hungarian brothers plot.

It was fun to see how they were able to pull the wedding con, err, mission wiht minimal time/resources.

Oh, and as it's been mentioned, no Ellie!

This episode was obviously meant for people who complain about subplots involving the Buy More gang -- no Big Mike, no Jeffster.

I noticed that the SuperShuttle van had a fake phone number on the side -- 818-555-something.

Yeah, the Hungarian brothers wouldn't have moved on to a different wedding planner by then.

I really liked this episode! Some of the bits with Sarah and her dad were really touching... then the end, while admittedly a bit cliched and predictable, was still really good.

As soon as Sarah and co. walked into the Bat Mitzvah (Bar Mitzvah? I forget which) and started setting up for the reception, I said out loud, "Ok... lets go steal us a wedding reception." (Paraphrasing one of the frequent lines from Leverage. Most episodes on that show are like this, where they go in and pull a scam to help someone out.)

Apparently the guys "team Bartowski" battles are small potatoes, if just the mention of this one terrorist got virtually the entire US government involved on a moments notice. :)

Is Super Shuttle a real thing? I figured it was just some made up name for the show. Never heard of them, if it's real, and if it was product placement it failed to make an impact for me.

Huh? What do you mean, "moved on to a different wedding planner?" The scam that Daphne Peralta pulled on the Hungarians is that they planned the reception 'long distance' without having met her in person. They only would have found out that they were scammed when they showed up for the reception and found out there wasn't one. Yeah, it was a bit convenient for Sarah and co. to have that happen, so they would be able to sweep in and pretend to be Peralta and throw the reception, but that's what the deal was.

Also, no mention about the actual wedding for the Hungarians... you'd think that if they got scammed by Peralta on the reception, she'd have also scammed them on the wedding itself. I guess we can fanwank it away by guessing that they had two wedding planners, one for the wedding itself and Peralta only did the reception.

Yep. Real thing. At least here in SoCal, there are two major competing airport transportation services: Super Shuttle, and Prime Time (from their websites, it looks like Super Shuttle is actually more or less nationwide, and Prime Time is mainly SoCal). Basically, if you live far enough away from the airport that a taxi is going to be too expensive, and you are either going to be gone long enough that parkinng is going to be too expensive, or you just don't want to deal with airport parking, you hire one of the shuttle services to come pick you up.

 Haha, so true. That is what they do.

Sarah's accent sounded nothing like the wedding planner. Let's hope they only talked to her via email.

Good catch about the actual wedding. As you said, we'll just let that one slide.

As far as I know, Super Shuttle is national. I've seen them in the NY area and have used them in San Fran and Seattle.

Also, I thought they did a great job of finding a little girl that looked like grown up Sarah, even the teeth looked similar.

The fact that you had to explain all of that blows it even more out of the water.

I don't get what you mean, again. The only thing I had to explain away was the wedding/reception bit. The rest was all in the episode.

Unless you talked to the two of them back to back, or unless you had talked to the "Real" Daphne a *ton* of times, you're probably not going to recognize the differences in the accent. All you would likely remember is that Dapne had a distinctive East Coast accent, and leave it at that.

Looks like SuperShuttle doesn't operate in Chicago or Milwaukee, so it makes sense that LoadStar hasn't seen them. But they do seem to be at pretty much every other major airport in the U.S.

And they've obviously been expanding -- last time I was in my hometown, a couple years ago, I saw ads proclaiming that one of the longtime airport shuttle van companies there was now SuperShuttle. So I assume it won't be too long before they get their tentacles into MKE, ORD, and MDW.

Sarah's fake NJ accent is not something people would forget. *Very* different than the wedding planner's. :)

They wouldn't know that it's a NJ accent, but they'd not the difference. I mean, it was a bad accent!

Now if the wedding planner had been played by Fran Drescher, they wouldn't have noticed.

Of course all the negotiations could've been done via email. :D
