By the way, the spoken dialog and the closed-captions differed on whether these events happened during their Senior or Sophomore years at Stanford. The characters said "Senior" throughout while the closed-captioning displayed "Sophomore." The writers must have made a last-minute change from the events occurring their second year at University to their fourth.

I got the impression that Chuck thought Bryce was the one cheating, but couldn't prove it, so he didn't say so to Bryce's former coworker.

And he doesn't even know that they dated, does he? I can't remember.

They did a nice job appeasing the computer nerds with Chuck reading PC Gamer magazine and showing the World of Warcraft expansion in the store.

I think the mystery of "why Chuck" will remain until a critical sweeps episode where Bryce magically returns from the dead (I am suggesting that he really isn't dead) and sort of explains that he wasn't a traitor, but that he KNEW that the machine and information were going to be misused, so he needed an intelligence to manage the information. Just a guess.

The plot thread about his old friend and the SEC was cute, as was the line about them having an open relationship. AND, I have never seen a UPS or FedEx parcel delivery person dressed like the assassin was at the end of the show!

Move to the San Fernando Valley, they seem to flock there for some reason or another.

This is the first episode we caught, and we really enjoyed it. Being a former Best Buy employee, I really marvel at their attention to detail. Change the green to Blue, and you've got Best Buy to a "T".

But the show itself is just a ton of fun. Very "Scarecrow and Mrs. King"-ish--every week, a person who really shouldn't be a spy keeps getting sucked into the world of espionage. It's done quite often, but, at least based on this episode, Chuck is a really good implementation of the idea.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what the response has to do with the quoted post.

I actually like how they've made her up for Chuck better than they did for ER and Studio 60. Less bubbly and not trying to be over-cute.

    Which is better?

    Sarah in lingerie;
    Sarah tied up; or
    Sarah in a catfight?

The statute of limitations on treason, murder, etc. is like forever. Some of these people go into hiding for years. Decades even.

The information will be useful for many, many years.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more. She is so far out of his league. Evidenced by the fact that she wouldn't have paid him a second glance had it not been for his importance.

He's decent looking, he's smart, he's funny. Unfortunately in our world that rarely gets you the super hottie.

You gotta be sucessful, suave, and charismatic too. He's lacking that big time.

Clearly, the answer would be: Sarah tied up during a catfight while wearing lingerie.

He may be out of Sarah, the superspy's league--but is he out of Sarah, the wienerwench's league?
