I stand corrected!
It didn't look like the CC in Burbank to me. I was thinking they took over an old Good Guys location. There are quite a few of them around So. Cal. to use.
Ahhh. How about the new Intersect computer gets finished - they bring in Chuck to run some comparative tests - his brain sucks up all the new Intersect data - they either see the value in a "field-available Intersect" or the new Intersect blows up after being sucked dry.
They'll probably have a 'sweeps week' crisis where his lack of current intel will require him to make a choice of updating and possibly damaging his brain or letting the 'major life threating crises' happen. My guess the cute blond or sister will be held captive by a 'big bad' and the only way to save them will be to 'update.'
My guess is durring sweeps week, the blonde will be filmed wearing nothing but undergarments a LOT.
When there's the fight on the roof at the shopping center, you can see a Wal-Mart and Ross in the background. I'm not certain, but using Google Maps and store locators, it looks like the geography matches Van Nuys.
Please let sweeps come soon. VERY SOON!
BTW -- I live in Streamwood, and commute from the Bartlett Transtation every day.
And this is different from every episode we've seen so far how??
You may be right about that, especially since CC probably wouldn't want to lose on profits by closing down one of their stores.
We also lost CompUSA in SoCal so maybe it's shot in one of those too.
I do now see the Wal*Mart and Ross in the background too.
*EDIT* Several sites on the net indicate it *is* being shot in an old CompUSA. There was never one in Van Nuys, so either they used a different roof for the fight scene or it's another location. Woodland Hills maybe??
The SAY they're doctors...
Nah, the update will happen by accident like it did in "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes".
The scenario above is not by accident?
Anyway, the intel in Chucks brian isn't something like "Spy A is going to try to steal a painting tonight." the intel is just millions of facts, and he true power of having that in Chuck's brain is he's able to subconsciously connect (interconnect... hmmm... ) different pieces of seemingly unrelated information to predict what will happen. So that info buried in his brain can go a long way. Perhaps even a whole season!
The fight scene was shot at the Fallbrook Mall in West Hills.
I shop there from time to time.
There was a Comp USA in Woodland Hills at Owensmouth and Victory but the exterior shots look wrong.
I wonder if they took over the one in Monrovia but I drove by it a couple of weeks ago and it looked the same.
Well, sometimes now she wears her Wienerlicious uniform...
So, the deal here is one catfight per episode? I'm not complaining, exactly (although Sarah could use some better coaching for MA), but...
Unfortunately my DVR elected to only record the last 30 minutes for some reason; too bad, I've been very curious about what happened at Stanford.
Chuck... time for your "upgrade":
Nevermind the fact that the guys name is Harry Tang, I didn't notice that in previous episodes.
[Holden McNeal]It all goes back to something my grandma told me....the real money is in dick and fart jokes[/Holden McNeal]
I agree. He's a good looking guy, intelligent, and from what we can tell very charming and funny. Definitely not out of her league.
