Hidden by the spoiler text in case someone hasn't watched last weeks episode:
Last week it was mentioned that it would be "6 months" until the new Intermix computer would be online.

At that point, the guy spy is supposed to "do what he does" (kill Chuck).
Of course, if the show is still on when that time comes, he won't.

Umm... kinda stupid to watch the episode after the one you haven't watched yet and be worried about spoilers for it.

But will the information he currently knows even be useful for another 6 months? That's my point.

Granted, I'm bringing way too much realism into the argument, given the show. :D

Yeah, too much realism for sure. I am 100% certain that if the show is doing well, the writers will find a way to make Chuck useful to the government for an indefinite period of time. Especially as it seems he's going to be a full-fledged field agent before too long.

I see no reason why the software that was uploaded into his brain wouldn't have an automatic update feature.

I really like the addition of the Asian chick to "Team Bartowski"
    She was funny. :)

This week was the strongest so far. I really really like the show and hope it does well. As someone who does what Chuck does for a living (albiet NOT at a Best Buy) I have a particular fondness for his character. I also like that he was reading PC Gamer magazine....

I agree, this episode was quite enjoyable. The female baddie reminded me of an exotic Linda Carter. ;)

I have to give kudos to the art department. There attention to detail in the "Buy More" is quite impressive. They've clearly done a lot of research and "paraphrased" a Best Buy quite well. It looks like they pimped out a Circuit City though. Did they take over the one in Burbank, CA? I should drive over and see. :)

I was wondering where they filmed this too-it has to be a set-albiet an expensive set.

I saw a Nintendo Wii on display in one scene...

I would expect that some of what we see on the shelves there would be product placement.

    MUCH better than last week.

The two tangos were funny, and for the first time in my history with Chuck, I laughed out loud.

The old classmate subplot was funny.

And yes the sister and Captain Awesome are both doctors.

This is exactly what I was telling someone last week when I was describing the show. I said he has a head full of intel, but it never gets updated. For how long can he know about this general getting bombed and that art auction being something or other.

I have watched 2 ½ episodes and have given up on this show. There are just too many little things about the show that bother me. I really wanted to like this show.

And she's even more of a cutie without the goofy makeup. I remember her from her stint on 'Studio 60'. Yummy! :)

I thought they established that Bryce stole his GF in college, and he was still hung up on her.

I really like this show. I agree that the shelf life of info in his head is limited at best, but perhaps they can spin it off to: "Chuck: Cold Case" :D

Also, he framed Chuck for having stolen some tests and got him kicked out of Stanford. We just learned that this episode.

Somehow I think we're going to find out there was more to this; like perhaps Bryce was protecting Chuck from something even then.

We don't necessarily know that he framed Chuck, he was just the one who tattled on Chuck for having the tests under his bed. We don't know yet how they got there.
