channel is not authorized v58 after pausing roamio 21.9.6.v3

    I suggest not to process replacement yet of the box. Downgrading it will also not be an assurance to resolve the issue. I was told this is already an outage or something so let's see if they can fix it before we decide to do so.

    I agree. I’m hoping more affected people with the issue call. She told me they have 8 or 9 so far with the same issue on record. Hopefully they find a solution

    I've noticed this morning that my software is now 21.9.6.v4 - I guess that happened in the past day or so - but this does not seem to resolve the issue for me. I'll try another reboot to see if that helps

    Mine must have been updated Wednesday night. But no help with the issue

    I think they are working on it. I also found I can no longer transfer recordings from other units because of the new software. Not compatible. Ie: transfer from a Premiere unit to the Roamio

    I am in California, I have a Bolt 2-3 years old I get the same error v58. I put all the filters on to bring the SNR db down below 35db and I still have the problem. TIVO said the Bolt was bad so I went out and bought the Edge, now we have a problem with the tuner which seem to be the same problem with the Bolt. FYI the Edge does not have the option which shows the stations on each tuner in the menu. And you no longer have a choice of changing the guide layout.. The Edge does not seem any faster than the Bolt..There is nothing wrong with the Bolt, I'm taking back the Edge, it's not any faster and it has less custom features.. I have Spectrum.. These problems started a couple of months ago otherwise everything was working great.. software is 20.7..

    While we wait for a fix I have been using a Tivo Mini connected to my Roamio. This works fine and we do not see the Error V58 while watching Live TV from a Roamio Tuner.

    I was hoping for a fix by now. I’ll give it another week before downgrading

    It will need to be done by Tivo. You will lose any saved shows you may have.
    I would think it would solve the issue as it worked fine before the update

    Unless I'm misunderstanding, sidegrading back to TE3 can be done without TiVo Corp.'s customer service involvement.

    I spoke with TiVo and they said they had to talk me through it. They wouldn’t even email me instructions.
    I need to call back when I’m ready to downgrade.

    UPDATE! POSSIBLY FIXED
    this morning I forced a network update. Said update was available. Now on 21.9.6 v5

    only been a minute but so far it may have solved the v58 error

    Edit: After about an hour or so I’m happy with it. Can pause, go back, forward and use TiVo menu without getting an error. Only little bug I find that’s been there is when pausing a live show and you go to another tuner and than back it will not hold its place. The show that was paused will go to real time, losing your place. I can live with that

    I too can confirm that the v5 software update has resolved all the previous issues on my Roamio.

    I just confirmed the V58 on Pause is fixed with the V5 update. Thanks TiVo!!!
