I hope Jesse can flex his fund raising muscle, it will be interesting to see who he can pull in. Like you said he does have a good number of contacts through his wife and his previous projects.

I think it would be fun to see David Lee come later (maybe the finale) and donate money to Annie. That would make me chuckle since I guess Joan is surprised by Annie's Roll-a-dex.

Speaking of Joan and Annie. Wow, Joan pissed off a lot of the poker players tonight (well Sunday I guess). Phill Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer. Yep Joan was right, none of them have last names and are worse then white trash.

 

But this whole Joan/Melissa thing seems staged.

OK girls, go in there and be the biggest beyotches you can be. I know you to can do it and it'll make for some really compelling television.

Maybe I'm just to cynical for "reality" TV

 

Remember---she hides her feelings for a living.

They'd better have last names---too many are named "Phil".

Yeah---Annie should give a bunch of them a call and repeat what Joan said to encourage them to show what kind of good (and generous) people they are.

 

I'm sure he can rely on Joan, Melissa and all of their contacts if it comes down to him vs Annie.

Joan and Melissa disgraced themselves this week. Everything Annie has done on this show was not as bad as how Joan and Melissa acted in the last 5 minutes of this episode.

 

That part doesn't feel staged to me. I get the impression that Joan and Melissa are really like that. That's their true selves.

What was there to pick up on? She didn't contradict herself. Saying she would rather go against Melissa in the finale because she believes Brandi can raise more money than Melissa is very different than her saying she believes Melissa deserved to get fired because of her performance to-date.

In fact, Annie saying that completely disproves Joan's accusations that Annie would "do anything to win (even killing her own mother)". If she would "do anything", then she surely would have said Brandi should be fired, giving herself the better chance to win in the end.

 

LET'S BE REALLY CLEAR ON SOMETHING IMPORTANT ABOUT THAT LUNATIC JOAN WHITE TRASH RIVERS AND HER NARCISSISTIC 43 YR OLD DAUGHTER,

Joan did NOT raise a "butt load of money" for her charity.

It was Annie and Brande who brought in big bucks for that cupcake fund raiser, which their group Athena won, which in turn, the group leader, Joan was able to give all that money to her charity, along with the money the guys earned on their losing team.

Joan is not a big fund raiser on tasks- They did not air this important fact. In the Jewelry auction (and this is important, Joan lives in NY, she's been in showbiz for 40 yrs and a long long time resident of NY).. during the jewelry auction, Joan brought in LESS THAN ANYONE ON EITHER TEAM,,, SHE RAISED ONLY $8,000 FOR CHARITY ON THAT TASK.

She's a pathetic loser and spreading inaccuracies isn't fair to the other contestants.

A measly $8,000- that's all she could come up with in her own town of NY- that speaks VOLUMES of what her celeb and rich friends think of her.

She and her daughter are the lowest form of white trash and god all that plastic surgery they've both had? what a joke they are.

This seems just like pro wrestling. I believe that this is all scripted to draw attention to the show.

 

I agree with you completely.

 

As long as we're being REALLY CLEAR on things , Cearbhaill did not say that Joan raised a buttload of money for her charity. She said she won a buttload of money for her charity - there's a big difference.

That being said, I agree with the rest of what you posted.
