Some people are just a55holes. You learn to ignore them.
True statement. Many around here would jump off a cliff if their Tivo told them to. Just ignore those folks (lots on this board actually). They have nothing logical to say.
well at least now we know why you are lying abouit the thumb ads here.
As opposed to the people that would curse their Tivo because the "cure world hunger" option gave them chicken when they clearly ordered the beef dinner plate.
Ignore them too.
Only if it made it easier to set recordings.
What surprises me is the complete absence of promotional info on the free Unbox pilot downloads. You'd have no clue that it came from NBC, when the show would premiere, day and time of series, nothin', nada.
Now probably there is no thumbs up yet for those downloads, but it would certainly make sense to add that feature and use it when promoting future content.
Good grief. What I said was exactly true. Methinks you don't belong on this forum if you're going to accuse others of lying for no reason. When folks get to the point of accusing others of lying, it really puts the whole sillyness of arguing about Tivo in perspective, doesn't it.
Yes - around here, it's probably best just to ignore everyone. After all, it's only Tivo - not a really important topic anyway. Much larger issues to worry about, really.
Very true. The whole point of releasing them for free was to promote the Unbox service and the ad-supported content on TV. Having a "thumbs up" function to set the Season Pass would have been a good addition.
Agreed on the lack of promotional tie-in. Not only were there no automatic 'thumbs-up'-type features during or after the shows, but even the new "Universal Swivel Search" and "View upcoming episodes" features under "More options " don't show any broadcast/cable/sat results.
Yeah right. I was shocked by that too. It just said there were no more episodes available via Unbox. No Universal. No Swivel. Not really a Search.
Ahhhhhh... we are TiVo users. We ain't looking for ways to pay $1.99 to buy an episode that hasn't been released/aired yet. That's what Season Passes get us for free.
