Very happy to see Bob  Abishola made the renewal list, as well as The Unicorn. Somewhat surprised they didn't give Tommy another season to prove itself.

    Like how it says
Broke - A Safe Bet.... officially Cancelled.

Not surprised about it at all.

Surprised about Tommy, CBS loves their cop shows, and usually gives them a chance.

    Man with a plan..ehhh

I actually like Man with a Plan better than Unicorn, although it's good too.

I saw a tease about canceled shows with a pic of Tom Selleck on it--glad that turned out to be a lie.

Only show on the list that I watched and was cancelled was Man With a Plan, but not the kind of show I'd miss. Cookie cutter sitcom similar to Everyone Loves Raymond. Glad The Unicorn is coming back. We liked that one.

I thought Everybody Loves Raymond was better than your average cookie cutter sitcom.

I don't know why but I always forget it it's Everyone or Everybody!! Brain flatulence on my part. ELR was a cookie cutter sitcom, it was just done REALLY well. I still watch it in syndication quite often. But there really wasn't anything revolutionary about it. Man With A Plan is a similar type show, but just not as well done as "Raymond". But I still enjoyed it.

Those are the only shows I watch (my son watches MacGyver too), so all good news.

I watch only four shows out of that entire list (in addition to a couple that officially ended their run) - NCIS (the original), Seal Team, The Unicorn, and Young Sheldon. The only spinoff from a successful show that I can ever recall liking was Frasier. I refuse to watch anything labeled as a "reality" show. There are a lot of shows on that list that I was surprised to see that are still on the air. I guess somebody must be watching them. I tend to avoid most sitcoms because the jokes get old after a couple of seasons. They're like chewing gum. They taste great at first but then quickly lose their flavor.

I don't watch anything on CBS it seems.

I think I have a series recording for Evil and Unicorn on my DVR, but I've never watched either.

Heh, for whatever reason, CBS has always seemed to be our primary channel for shows. (And I promise, I'm not that old). So I'm pretty happy to see a bunch of stuff we watch being renewed. Course, who knows when new episodes will actually be made.

Kinda surprised on a few. Thought for sure MacGyver would get cancelled. FBI Most Wanted kinda surprised me too, I'm not convinced it really adds anything to having FBI. The tone lately of NCIS LA made me suspect that this would be the last season for them. Seal Team also seemed kinda iffy to me on being brought back.

Of course, my suspicion is that we're going to see a far higher than normal amount of renewals this year simply because pilot season got so screwed up. I suspect a number of shows on that renewal list wouldn't have made it in a normal year.

Well, looks like my SPs stay for now. I've only got Blood and treasure and The Unicorn now that Madam Secretary is done.

I watch the following CBS shows:
    Evil
    The Neighborhood
    Bob ❤ Abishola
    Young Sheldon
    Mom
    Man With a Plan

Five out of six ain't bad.

My guess is you like a lot of police procedurals. CBS has loaded up on them for years. I've always had shows on each network that I've liked. Usually I find NBC has more what I'm interested in since the 1980s, but I watch all of them.
