Can't watch with an HDMI cable?????????

    Today while trying to watch some recorded shows I got a message the HDMI cable was not permitted. Message states that my television does not properly support HDCP copy protection? I have been using the same Bolts, cables and TV for almost 2 years. What has changed? One of the recorded shows only gave me the message(s) and a blank screen, another recorded show plays, but only the audio, no video. Help

    Have you swapped cables yet to test things?

    Are you running your TiVo's output at 4K?

    There was at least one earlier report of lowering the TiVo output resolution to 1080 resolved a similar error.

    Thanks to everyone that responded :). Still not sure what was going on but I rebooted the Tivo and all is well :handok:
