Can't log into Tivo Online.

    I've had this issue for 5 - 7 weeks.

    I contacted Tivo phone support, and created a case last week. They said there's over 200 customers with this issue.

    I haven't seen any improvement.

    I've tried on multiple PCs, and on multiple browsers.

    I can log in using the Tivo App on my Android phone.

    But I want to be able to log in to the web version.

    I get an error like this:

    Works fine for me. Maybe you have a browser issue? Have you deleted the cookies for the online TiVo site and then tried again?

    If it's the same issue I had (since resolved), it seems to relate to an undisclosed TiVo change in online.tivo.com website login/password/signing-in protocol. What worked for me: from the TiVo webpage, chatting them up (from the webpage--no phone call) and explaining that I was not able to log on (and further that when I asked the system to re-set my password and send me a password re-set email, I never received it). The chat folks were able to send me the needed re-set email and I was able to change my password and log on since. The chat people seemed to know what to do (if not, ask them to send you the password re-set email).

    The only hassle: the password requirements changed and so I needed to think up (and try to remember) a new password. :(

    Thanks. I tried resetting my password, and now also noticed that I'm not getting the reset email. I'll try the chat when they are open.

    Yes, I had tried that, and also tried multiple browsers on multiple PCs.

    If the password requirements changed, I wonder why I was able to log in using the Tivo app on Android.

    What, you're expecting logic? ;) It could be a web-specific issue. But what do I know, I'm just a user.

    :) My password was pretty simple. I would have thought that when I logged in on the Android device, it would have told me that I HAD TO reset the password.

    I'll report back after I've gotten help through the chat.

    Perhaps you could try changing your password with the Android Apps then try to log in through a computer?

    Call TiVo support, ugh.., your online account may be suspended.... for a reset, know issue.

    I had the same problem. I can now log in with Google Chrome but not Safari.

    Works for me. Same with TiVo.com but could be related to New Support Portal

    Google Chrome ended up working after I posted.....I have revised my post to reflect that I can now get on.

    Ok, I had chat support reset my password.

    I can now log in, using all 3 browsers I tried (FireFox, Chrome, I.E.).

    I can't see the guide on most browsers though, only Chrome.

    This was an issue I had in April:

    Can't see guide on Tivo Online after I log in.

    But in April, I found I could view it in I.E., but not the otehr browsers.

    Right now, I can only view the guide in Chrome.

    @TiVo_Ted, maybe someone in TiVo Chat needs to call up TiVo Telephone Customer Tech. Support to inform the latter how to re-set TiVo Online passwords and send password re-set emails. That could clear up a few hundred current support cases. :)
