I have checked the channels I want to view in the channel list. However ALL channels are still on my list, which even gives me duplicate channels below 99! I restarted the system an even wiped out the programming and did a new download without success.
    Can anyone help?

Is this a brand new tivo or an S1? There are some earlier versions of software in which a glitch prevented you from changing more than about 16 checkmarks at a time. If that's the case, then switch about 16 channels, exit the screen, and come back and do some more.

Also, make sure that you are viewing the Channels You Receive list in the Guide and not All channels.

I have Series 4 TiVo from CableOne. I'm trying to remove channels that have porn-related titles & just use the favorites channels I have already set up with the thumbs up button.

However, I cannot locate any info on how to list just the favorites. I use the "C" button on the remote to filter, but there are only category lists & not a Favorites list. All channels are still listed including the porn channels.

How do I get TiVo to show Favorites only?

To get rid of channels you do not want to see, go to Settings & Messages->Settings->Channels->Channel List. Uncheck all channels that you are not interested in. You can also specify A Favorite using the Thumbs Up. Then go to Guide->Option A. Then set Channels to My Channels or Favorites.

For porn, try Parental Controls. Never used it though.

Thanks so much! The step I was missing was the A button-> change My Channels.

No one at cable one mentioned that last step. We appreciate your help!,,,
