I cancelled service on 10/1/19, for an annual plan that renewed on 10/16. I still got billed. I disputed the charge with my CC company, then TiVo billed me again. HELP!!!

Does TiVo.com still have a "cancel service" link for your device?

I hope you got a confirmation number. Dispute the new charge and cancel the card for fraud.

Nah, don't really need to inconvenience yourself that far--just dispute the bad charges.

The canceling for fraud is to get a new credit card number so they don't keep charging him.

Yep, but it just can invite further hassle for a consumer: having to learn a new number, changing auto-charge accounts, etc. I really dislike getting a new card number or expiration date.

All you have to do is tell your CC to block the retailer.

You can always unblock them later if need be.
