Just wondering if anyone has tried to sub in a newly purchased Tivo for an older model since the pricing changed ($19.95/$14.95) last week? I still have two $7/mo units and see plenty of the Premieres (claiming to be eligible for $12.95/mo.) out on the E* that I would love to buy and sub for the one HD unit I have left.

I'd like to hear the answer on this question as well. I have an S3 (OLED) on $6.95 month-to-month and am thinking of replacing it with a Premiere XL.

Given the new pricing, the breakeven on a new $99 Premiere with Lifetime is nearly 6 years. I can't see that. Heck, it is 57 months just on the service only.

Service for Premiere/XL is 19.99/14.99 MSD, while its still 12.95/9.95 MSD for other Tivos, such as the HD or HD XL.
    6.95 is grandfathered price.
Lifetime is now 499.99/ 399.99 MSD.

That seems to be the new pricing structure, as of May 19th.
