Can PyTivo "push" videos onto a Tivo with Hydra?

So, upon getting a new Hydra-crippled Roamio OTA, I've realized I can't bring shows back from my PC to my Tivo (due to the incompetence of Tivo's programmers and/or management).
So, my question is whether or not PyTivo can push edited shows back to the Roamio OTA. I've never installed PyTivo, but my understanding was that it was able to push shows onto Tivos in the past. Just wondering if this is potentially something I could do with the new cripple-ware that is Hydra. What a fiasco that software is.

No. Push required a special call into the TiVo servers to work, and TiVo disabled that call a couple years ago. So push doesn't work regardless of which UI you're using.

but pull still works, right? e.g. run pytivo and connect to the server you're running on a computer?

(I am likely to avoid "upgrading" as long as I can..)

Pull still works on gen 3, but not Hydra.

More specifics please. I just installed pyTivo for use with a never Hydra'd Roamio Basic and get red X's when I try to restore from the PC to the Roamio.

If you're not on Hydra, pulling should work as it always had. You may want to provide specifics of your situation in a new thread (or the main pytivo thread). Things like: version of pytivo used, pc or mac, os version, etc. Providing the pytivo log would also be helpful. Also, file types of the content you're trying to transfer. It's possible the version of ffmpeg is incompatible with your files, or the files themselves are visible but not transferrable by pytivo due to permissions issues. Best to separate that conversation out from this one though.
Because you can't under Hydra. No transfers to the Tivo from the PC. Period. :-(

OP would have to revert back to pre-Hydra for pytivo pull to work. IMO pytivo pull capability makes Hydra a non-starter for me.

I guess Plex replaces pull functionality.
