I have a D-Link Share drive on my network that I want to save my Tivo recording on. Tivo Destop Plus will not let me use the network drive. The "OK" button will not become available when I browse to the location I want to use.
I have tried to connect using the network address and by mapping the network drive. Neither will work.

No, I don't think you can with desktop. kmttg is capable of saving to a network location.
you can find it under TiVo Home Media Features & TiVoToGo forum.

You can have an NTFS partition (FAT32 won't allow anything bigger than about 1:55 at best quality SD) on a hard drive actually connected to your motherboard, so that the partition gets a drive letter, and put your "My TiVo Recordings" sub-directory there, and move stuff in and out of it to and from your network drive.
