Can I use a Bolt to view programs recorded on another Bolt in my house? Also, if it is possible, would I need a Tivo account on the second Bolt?

Thanks for the quick reply. So I need a Tivo account (I mean subscription) on the second Bolt even if I don't wish to record any programs on it?

    Yes.

The title indicates the use of a Mini. A Bolt can not use a tuner from another TiVo. You would need a cable card for it to view real time TV. But with service it can access recordings on another TiVo.

Perhaps you could get by with a used Roamio for the same purpose. To just watch recordings you could use a Premiere but would lose SkipMode.

I'm basically using my Bolt as a Mini that has it's own tuners and records content.

I rarely turn on my other Roamio's, just stream the content from them to my Bolt.
Except one that is only WiFi, doesn't stream well, but I often copy a show from it to the Bolt, then watch it on the Bolt.
