Can I update the Guide with a USB?

    Can you install the old router and verify the Premiere can still connect?

    Have you performed a clear and delete everything activity on the premiere recently?
    I think this activity causes this issue.
    If this is the case, I think you will need to write a new image to the hard drive using DVRBARS software.
    You can request a image from the Premiere forum.

    How old is your hard drive? You might want to pull the hard drive and connect it to a PC and use Crystal Disk Image software to test the health of the drive.

    Thanks. Please compare the TiVo's IP address to any other working device. The only difference should be the last number of the IP address. You can manually enter all Ethernet addresses manually, but I wouldn't. Does your router indicate the Premiere as a connected device?

    This one always worries me when people say they've opened ports. Most routers don't block the outbound ports required by TiVo and you don't need to open any inbound ports (which would be a security risk if you did this).

    I know what you mean. I've had many different routers and never had to mess with ports. I wouldn't know how to. Blocking sites, ok. Ports, don't know (and don't care). But that router looks like Fort Knox.

    Ive had Tivo boxes many years and never futzed with the modem/router. I wouldnt know how.
