Navigating the site and reading threads is fine, but when I try to post a reply I get this pop-up
I'm seeing you made several replies before this and then deleted them.
Replies that are only a few words do post.
Larger replies do not.
The deletions were me testing that.
Still get the pop-up on large posts.
If possible, check wifi vs. cellular to see if it's not liking your IP address.
Do those large posts have anything out of the ordinary in them? I remember having a post once that the firewall just refused to let me post, and eventually I figured out that something in the post was triggering the checks against SQL injection or something like that. Removing that line fixed the issue. So if it is a specific big post, rather than any big post, it could be something in the post itself. But I am just spitballing here.
That could be it. I didn’t really test outside of the thread(Westworld) for which the post was meant.
It might just be a problem with that thread. I just got the pop-up while typing a post, before I ever hit “post reply.”
no big deal
That could happen when it tries to auto-save the draft. More suspicion that it may be something in the post. Can you post a screenshot of what you are trying to post?
You’re right. I got the pop-up when trying the same post here. Not sure what in it would cause this. Here’s the screenshot.
The problem is this: "systemxxx(represented ad Logan)."
I added the xxx to allow it to post, but it thinks system with the parenthesis is an attempt at some illegal call. Even with the xxx, it is doing weird stuff, like centering the post.
Ok, thanks! I’ll change it up.
