First episode available online (leaked).
Watched it at lunch today. Gets predictable, but still fun.
really like this show...always fun! looking forward to another season...
Gets? I like this show but it's about as predictable as you can get.
Couldn't get past the first half dozen eps of the first season. Duchovny is just a jerk in the show....it was just unpleasant to watch.
Wow, I wasn't expecting more seasons of this. I thought the last ep of season 4 made a pretty fine series finale.
I wasn't expecting another californication season either..I really like this tv show
I really like this tv show too.
Californication probably should've ended last year, mean while Bored to Death and Hung gets cancelled there's no justice.
Different networks, so different factors. SHO seems to renew series using different standards/requirements than HBO.
Having said that... I love Californication. It's just plain & simple a fun show.
I think you'll be quite pleased with the new female interest...
Thanks for the heads up!
I think I'm starting to hate all of the characters.
I like the show, mainly because Hank is a complete opposite of me: attractive, creative, drinks and does drugs routinely, and women wants to sleep with him at first sight.
I've always wondered, do women actually like this show?
No, but they can't help watching it. And afterward, they're filled with disgust and self-loathing.
HA! That's not true of all women. I quite enjoy the show and Hank. I wouldn't touch him if my life depended on it in reality but he sure is fun to watch. And I actually like most of the characters on here, even Karen.
My wife can't stand it and won't watch at all...
I like it. Despite my better self telling me not to.
As for this first ep in the new season: All I can say is
Wow. Just wow.
I don't recall a show jumping forward like this and letting the dialogue fill in the blanks.
I am sure it has been done, I just can't recall seeing it.
Kudos to this show however, because I think it had a real chance to be redundant and stagnant. They have my interest now.
My wife likes it as much as I do. Which is a lot. Neither of us thought we would like it back when it first started, but it almost instantly became one of our favorites. (Same was true with Shameless.)
