    Ok .. Is this normal.

My tivo has a single drive set up at the moment. I have a dual drive setup to put in. One thing I have noticed is during the cachecard boot.

Normall It says 512MB database being cached (on 512MB Ramm - so no harm no foul)...

When I have two drives in and configured its says teh database is 521MB - which to my mind is two big for the 512MB cachecard ...

Am I right ? Is this normal ?

    Gas.

Does not matter really. As long as MOST of the database is in memory you will still see an improvement in speeds.

Some people on this forum say that a 256MB or even a 128MB memory stick will give a marked improvement in speed.
