It’s paired it received one way authorization but it just says waiting on update on the cable card screen. It’s a scientific Atlanta multistream. Bad card? Left it overnight to see if it would update called spectrum to push whatever they push still no go. Anyone ever see this?

Never heard of that. I would say you need to start over with another card.

Yep that’s what I thought as well. I put one of my other cable cards from my other box in it and everything works. Took my second trip to try to get another cable card from cable store none in stock. So I’m getting them to roll a truck just to bring another sucks.

Is it connected to the Cable System?

Yep it’s connected. Strange thing happening now I think I messed up my other cable card trying it in the new box. I swapped the cards between the boxes then swapped back I called tech again tonight had them send signal now all of a sudden both new bolt+vox and old bolt+ have all of the channels except missing some premiums but not all. I checked my other Roamio box and it gets everything in. Both bolts show that auth hasn’t been received on cable card screen my Roamio says one way auth received. Difference is now new bolt cable card is active instead of trying to update. But I lost most of my premiums on my old bolt. I’m hoping overnight they will build up emms or whatever it is that the cards do. Sick of this don’t know why I go through this every time I upgrade a box.

Motorola CableCARD? They have an additional Data ID that has to match and which can change when swapping CableCARDS so you probably will have to get it repaired on the old Bolt.

Post 1 indicates a SA card. The photo shows Cisco.

Conditional Access on a Moto card:

If you have a Moto card, I'm curious if the field CP: is Disabled for content that is copy protected? TiVo's diagnostics sort of suck and I don't trust them.
