I think it got in some sort of accident where it got damaged ;)

I actually sort of enjoyed this episode. Although since they eradicated that whole spy network (one of the hardest things a spy can do) they indicated that things were going to go "back to normal" But I am sure in the next few episodes somebody will know someone, who knows or somebody who knows how Michael got burned. And the hunt will be on again.

I like how Jesse walked in and said he quit the CIA so he can help them with the jobs they do helping people. So, I'm thinking...yes, they will go back to the caper of the week at some point. Maybe Jesse runs more of these while Michael keeps hunting for the reason he was burned.

I've said before that Michael is Charlie Brown, the writers are Lucy, and the Burn Notice is the football. I half expect him to learn soon that the people who were behind the burn notice were actually just stooges, and Michael will be exactly where he's been since the beginning of the series, looking for the real people behind the burn notice..

At least, that's what they've done every other time he thought he had figured something out...

    People's...
Jesse's return seemed kind of forced. "We worked a whole season to get me back in, and then I just gave it up." So that was all for nothing? Seems clear to me it was setting up Mike's excuse to return to caper-of-the-week though.

Me, too...he adds nothing to the show...and often detracts from it.

And, pertaining to Sam's weight loss....how could it NOT be real? You've either lost weight or you haven't...

I agree this episode wasn't the best. Fi and Sam were being whiny bitches which was just embarrassing for their characters. Then of course they had to disobey command and save the day at the end. Blah.

I was replying to someone above that said it looked like had a facelift, not lost weight.

I am guessing Kessler was not really the top dog, and things will reset to where they were soon enough.

Can't be soon enough for me.

I'm not convinced Kessler was really dead. It was too convenient after getting into the saferoom that he'd killed himself.

Losing weight tends to maximize facial folds and wrinkles. IMO, facelift. Sure, maybe he has lost some weight and been to the gym, but I'm talking about his face. I don't give much credence to press releases <g> or denials. I trust my eye.
