I hope the job they have for Michael is to assassinate whatever SCIFi executive(s) didn't renew the Dresden Files but thumbed-up Flash Gordon.

It's entirely possible that the voice on the phone is just a temporary voice actor. Because the second season is so far off it's possible they haven't cast her yet. With that said, I still think it's Audrey Landers as well. My first thought was that it sounded like Fiona.

USA's summer shows (The 4400, Burn Notice) have been enjoyable, but I hate the 13 episode seasons. If the shows are successful, why doesn't USA bump them up to 18-20 episodes a season?

At least some of their success comes from being summer shows when they have less competition. Shows on networks like USA get lost in the network push during the regular season, so counter programming is one way to succeed.

Yeah! I think of the summer shows as trial runs for a full season :D And I'd think they'd move them over to the network! (Dreamer that I am).

It seems to me that there were some shows that starter out as network fillers, but I'm a bit fuzzy abou which ones . . . Desperate Housewives? Grey's Anatomy? Or was that my imagination?

Or they could just have him roll it down or crawl through the sun roof. He did go in willingly, so I imagine he'll cooperate when it comes time to get out.

I thought it sounded like Fiona too, but you're probably right that it's temporary until they cast the actress.

Funny you guys say that--it sounded very much NOT like Fiona to me!

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Well, no, NOT soon enough. But eventually!

+1. It does sound like "somebody" but I also can't figure out who.

My only comment is Wow - they eat a lot of yogurt on this show! :D

I rewatched it today and I think the opening scene with the yogurt and the fried chicken was the best. Just the way they looked at each other.

I didn't feel like it was Fiona's voice. I still would like to know how the heck she runs in those shoes of hers!

I liked it. Probably my favorite episode for Sam. I really like this show but I think when they finally get around to revealing the source behind the burn notice I'll be disappointed. It's not that I think the burn notice is that big of a part of the show (except for the title), it's that I have a feeling it's going to be a lame reason.

    Excellent show!

Another vote for Audrey Landers as the voice - I have wondered since they brought her on the show what her purpose is. She has only been in one episode, I think and the rest of the time it is just Sam talking about her. Surely she has more of a part than that.

I miss this series already. Sheesh. I wish at least ONE of the new shows was as good -- or even half as good -- as this one. Summer pickings were good. So far, Fall season really sucks AFAIC!

I just had one thought, and maybe I just missed something, BUT, it seems that they said that the couple smuggling the drugs into the country were arranging to make a big sale, and then leave the city. If they had a hugh cache of drugs with them, then the drug distributor blew up the drugs with the car (and them in the car). That was a HUGE container of heroin. It must have been worth a fortune. I can't believe that he would destroy so much money in drugs. He could easily have killed them after he got his hands on the heroin. Did I miss something, or did he really destroy the drugs along with the couple?

Why would Audrey Landers is such a big "catch" for this show? IMO She's a bit-part actress, who probably was happy to get a paying job.

Really enjoyed this series this summer. It's so great to have fun and interesting television to watch during the summer months.

man i just watched this and am so mad we dont get to find out who was on the other end of the phone. I like the bomb thing in the nightclub and am not sure that guy would have backed down so easily but i guess c4 kinda is persuasive.

the brother sure is turning out to be an asset...too bad his golf clubs didnt work out.

I like when he pretty much told his mom he was a spy and this is serious. Also the traced phone was kinda funny

    gonna miss this show

Did you see anything about it's cancellation? I saw the thread on the 4400 and Dead Zone, but nothing on Burn Notice.
