has been out a week, maybe Amazon trying to have a signature series. Takes place in 43 A.D. Plot involves Roman Army invading what is now England and facing warring tribes and some creepy mystics called "the Druids". has a Vikings vibe with some Game of Thrones thrown in
4 episodes in and I like what I'm seeing

Nope. This is the beginning of the second Roman invasion (the first ended with Julius Caesar fleeing back to the continent with his tail between his legs). So this is the first real Roman presence in Britain. And obviously they haven't gotten that far north yet.

I saw when it came out on Sky and was waiting for it to become available in the US. I watched the first episode on Prime earlier this week. I was losing interest after the first 30mins, but stuck through to the the end of the first episode, it improved enough Ill watch some more when I have time.

the leader of the Druids is easily one of the creepiest characters ever on any show I've ever watched

I was surprised and disappointed it was only nine episodes.

    Great acting, all around.

I wanted to punch Cait's father in the head every time he kept praising Islene at Cait's expense.

I'm going to spoilerizer this question because maybe not everybody else is wondering the same thing.
    Is Cait a young Boudica?

She shouldn't be (wrong part of the country), but given the way they're messing with history, who knows?

I'm having a hard time keeping track of who is who. I thought the outcast guy was Cait's dad for a while. I can see the difference now but not at first. I'm also having trouble figuring out just how many different groups we are dealing with in this show. I like that the one tribe wears blue to help distinguish them.

I'm only a couple episodes in but so far, so good. The "governor" isn't annoying me as much as I thought he would.

just finished season one and I love this show. Veran is a piece of work, as is the old lady leading the one tribe. Finale was a great episode with more than one surprise. More humor than you would expect in a show like this (for example all the scatological references) Can't wait for season 2

Season 2 is out in the UK, but there's no sign on Amazon that they're going to be showing it (some news outlets have said that it's supposed to be out tomorrow, a week after its UK release, but there's no trace of Season 2 on Amazon's actual site).

    Anybody know what's up?
