Just got a tweet from SaveBreakingIn that links to the following story about BreakingIn coming back mid-season.

I am very psyched..I really liked the show.

Excellent news. Kind of surprising that both Fox and Sony had so much faith in this project that they renewed the actors options, yet Fox wasn't willing to make a commitment that it would come back. Very odd series of events, but whatever it takes, I'll be happy to have this show back on the air next spring.

I saw the thread title and thought who cares. Seems I had forgotten what Breaking In was. Glad to hear that it gets some new episodes.

I am happy for several reasons. This show is right up my professional alley...I sometimes do physical security/penetration testing. I think MR as Dutch is great. And the overall chemistry too.

But mostly as this is the first lead role for Christian Slater that really works for me.

Kudos to all responsible for bringing it back!!!

No, it actually got very good ratings, relative to all the other new shows last spring. The only negative thing about the ratings is that it aired after American Idol, and it didn't hold onto a very high % of the AI viewers. The problem is, no show can hold onto a high % of AI viewers, because AI has so many viewers, and most of those viewers tune in specifically for that show and don't stick around when it's over, regardless of what comes on after.

If Breaking In had received the same rankings in any other timeslot, it would have been hailed as a breakout hit.
