Supposedly, the show is only on for three more weeks this season (Glee returns 4/10), although it might come back in May when Idol gets to the point of 60-minute performance shows (or even earlier, if Fox decides to air it instead of I Hate My Teenage Daughter when the 90-minute performance shows start).

Ah, then in that case, nothing to see here. While I liked the show, I had no illusions that the shoestring renewal for the second season would result in a third. We just have to look at it as some bonus episodes that will hopefully all be shown.

I loved Party Down and I also love Megan Mullaly, but that character they gave her was just really bad.

I just started with Breaking In this season so was glad to see MM. I think the deal with her is that her Karen Walker character was so great that it's hard to find something for her that doesn't seem ridiculous. I am still a huge fan of hers, though, and will usually check out anything that has her in it.

QUESTION - Was Season 1 of 'Breaking In' good? Is it worthwhile to find it at this point to watch? I hadn't even heard about it until this season started.

I really enjoyed season 1. Definitely recommend it.

    This season... not so much.

This. I should not have said this show is dead. That is my bad. I didn't mean it had been cancelled, but i certainly think it will be because it has been pretty painful to watch IMO.

    Oops.

    I understood what you meant.

My BIH was for killing the spirit of the show.

Slight disclaimer: I didn't watch the whole episode yet, like I thought I did.. (I know, weird.)

I think I watched a part of it and went to sleep.. I definitely didn't think the previous ep of the season was awful.

Just watched the "Blind Sided" episode and actually thought it was pretty funny. Certainly better the previous episode.

"You do know that your dog is a possum, right? I can tell because this is a possum."

That was pretty funny, I agree, because of the delivery. The joke itself (crazy person takes in a wild animal, mistaking it for a domestic) gives me déjà vu - I know I've seen the same joke on another show but I can't recall which one. Pretty sure it was mistaking a possum for a dog there, too.

After the last episode I was ready to give up, but now I think I'll keep the SP around for a bit.

It was a Sears Optical, I believe. They had a series of commercials with people not being able to see stuff. One featured a lady opening her patio door to let her "cat" (actually a racoon) in. The other featured a lady getting into the back of a parked cop cruiser and asking to be taken something, thinking it is a taxi cab.

That sounds right - I thought it was a vision one, but couldn't remember which company.

Apparently, Fox has decided to keep the Idol performance shows at 2 hours in the weeks when it was going to be 90 minutes (which, if it is the same as last year, is every week from the Final 9 through the Final 3; the Final 2 perform for one hour on Tuesday 5/22, just before (or after) the Glee season finale).

    This week's was very funny.

Interesting bits (that I admit everybody probably knows):
Sean Patrick Flannery played "the guy when he did green screen" (sorry, I forget the actual character).. and the guy kept doing Indiana Jones allusions. SPF played one of the Indiana Joneses in "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles". (A show I really really liked, and would actually be interested in seeing again, but the DVDs are all butchered..)

Christian Slater said something like "A baboon heart? Ridiculous". He was in "Untamed Heart", a good old (comparatively) movie where his character had (or was told he had, I can't tell/don't remember) a baboon heart.

what's missing this season is the fear of oz, when the show started part of the fun was how everyone was scared of him and he was this intimidating boss. now he's just one of the crew getting into their wacky hijinks of the week

I just started watching this show this season, so I've never seen Oz in any other light. I like the show so far and regret I didn't see the first season. I loved all the Indiana Jones references in the latest episode. The "guy when he did green screen" was Jones, right? I think that's what lead to the Indian Jones characterization.

Yeah. This s what is missing. Still good but the oddity is gone with Oz being different. Gave the show a unique vibe. That is gone.

I don't understand the insult? Are you making racist comments?
I posted I didn't read about this show until this. And now you insult me?.
