Retelling the entire Breaking Bad series, in a two hour movie, with new actors?
Wow, that sounds like a truly terrible idea...I assumed you meant new actors playing new characters, which could be interesting.
I have nothing against the premise. I have issue with the pile of steaming poo Dexter turned out to be that last season. I don't need more thankssssss!
I love this concept. And in true spirit we could have plenty of flashbacks with Walter anyhow so Bryan could still be in the movie.
anything can be interesting. Remakes don't usually work but some do. But as in the post just above, a sequel sounds better
"in the works," or "begins filming?"
Production scheduled to begin this month and end in February.
As I rethink this I guess a movie to show what happened to Pinkman would be kind of interesting. But I would still prefer they just use BCS to tell that story at some point. Maybe Paul is only interested in a one off. Maybe Gilligan doesn't plan to jump ahead ever in BCS other than the annual 5 minute jump to Omaha.
If in BCS
the Taxi Driver is someone who is looking for Saul, and not Saul's paranoia, that could be used as a device to somehow join Jessie and Saul in the Movie.
While I love the idea of a Jessie follow-up, he’s a tragic character. With the way BB ended, I can imagine some redemption. But a movie about redemption would be boring, and I don’t really want to watch Jessie suffer any more.
And I don’t know that there’s any other character I care about. Except for Saul, and we’re getting his story.
But whatever they end up making, I’ll definitely watch.
Maybe the cartel picks him up again and makes him an (another) offer he can't refuse.
Or the DEA is all over him for everything the gang and WW did, since he's all that's left. They also have to account for Lydia's sudden death.
I just hope and pray Skyler doesn't have a big role.
Or her sister.

I really like Marie!
Walt Jr. takes over the meth operation.
Breaking [Bad] News.
The movie is a re-telling from Skyler's POV
Yeah, he and Skyler take over and move the meth operation to the car wash.
Dear god, please, no.
I'm going to hell, because my first thought was "and that's just the labware."
I'm sure the movie will be all about the completion of the superlab post-Werner and pre-Gale.
...and laser pointers
.......and fake SSNs
