It wouldn't be BB without Cranston.

if that's the case, and it appears at this point it may be, others will probably agree, but having really enjoyed bcs, i'm willing to give gilligan a chance and keep an open mind for the movie - a placeholder appeared on imdb this week (no casting).

I'd much prefer another series over a movie!

I have faith...... If Vince Gilligan is involved, it will be really good... in any way that it is spun.

My guess is that we'll see a movie about Jessie after his escape.

[tangent, with apologies] Wonder if we'll get "Dexter Redux"--a possibility left way open in the series finale. [/tangent]

Lol, and so a show about drug dealers (who kill) is fine but not a psychopathic killer who does justice? ;)

I just saw this description on Wikipedia: "Breaking Bad is an American neo-western crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan."

Neo-western? Well, yes, it takes place in the West; and it is neo.

Breaking Bad was a show that ended too soon.

Dexter was a show that ended too late.

Meh, without Cranston/Walter I'm not all that interested. And I don't know how they would include him other than flashbacks. Any kind of "he's not really dead" wouldn't fly with me. Whenever BCS catches up to BB they can jump ahead to Omaha full time and include Pinkman if they wish.

I couldn't care less if Cranston's not in it. I'm in.

That was my first reaction but why do it with him? It would just be a 2 hour story of an entire series. Yes they could add new elements and backstory, but what about an entire reimaging of the story with new actors.

New actors, or new characters? Because one would be great. The other...not so much. (I think we all know which is which!)

Its possible, but unlikely, that Jessie crosses paths with Saul/Gene

new actors. It has to be a sort of summary of the whole story, it's a 2 hour movie. But seeing that story retold could be interesting
