ARRGH!!!! I just went to the AMC website looking for the BB "webisodes" that have some of the back-story, and plastered over the home page are just photos of the latest season... just seeing who's in those photos is now a major spoiler! ARGH!! We just finished Season Two, and I'm really looking forward to watching S3 this week. But why bother, since I know who still made it to Season 4???!!? If anyone can find the links to the webisodes, without spoiling anything in Season 3 or 4, it would be greatly appreciated! Even just looking at the menu options on the website have spoilers. Arg.. why did I do that?

Season 3 was so awesome, just knowing some facts will not ruin the story. Watch season 3, it builds up the back story to season 4. It will not disappoint.

What did you expect? I mean, c'mon...anyone with common sense would know what's going to be on that Web site (which, obviously, would be promoting the CURRENT SEASON, and include information about previous seasons)...

I went there knowing there might be spoilers in episode (or season) summaries, so I purposely didn't read (or watch) anything like that... but I didn't expect just one photo to be a major spoiler. Even going back to the TCF threads talking about Season 1 and Season 2 (in their titles) have major spoilers for Season 3 and 4 in them, so even those threads aren't safe.

Purposely avoiding reading recent posts, just wanted to point out that you might want to use spoiler tags for the benefit of the rest of us who are also still catching up. I managed to not read anything spoiler-y, so I don't know how much info you actually let slip, but even indirect hints can be a problem. (FWIW, I had The Usual Suspects spoiled for me by a similar spoiler-rant on another site years ago. Oh the irony!)

I've got a question - we're half way through season 3 -- I just watched the two episodes (major spoilers are below for those reading this in email notification where the spoiler tags don't work, so stop reading now!)...

Anyway, we're up to these episodes:
Where Hank traps Walter and Jesse in the RV; the RV is destroyed; Hank assaults Jesse; Walt starts cooking for Gus; and Hank kills the two cartel thugs.. Two very awesome episodes -- the best so far.

    I'm also spoilerizing my question:

Anyway, my question is: In real life, could Walt really be arrested for cooking all the meth in the past, when there's absolutely no remaining evidence (lab, RV, chemicals, etc) to support that (or prove that he did it), other than the testimony of Skyler that Walt admitted it to her (hearsay?) and the money in the bag, which really isn't evidence? Say if Hank found that money bag, does Walt have to explain to anyone where it came from, as long as it wasn't stolen? (and he reports it as income to the IRS).

I don't think they can arrest Walt for that, and if they can't then Skyler didn't really have any more leverage against Walt for the divorce.

Also, please don't spoil anything after these episodes with your comments. Thanks.

I'm finally caught up. Can't wait for the season finale Sunday. Boy I can't wait to see what happens with that thing with that guy with the shaved/bald head regarding the meth..... :p

This is pretty much how I watched the entire series, I started while on vacation over the holidays and finished up last night with the Season 4 finale. It was definitely a great way to watch the series.

Since this was always one of those shows that I knew I'd eventually get around to, I avoided reading anything about it other than the basic premise of the show. I actually purchased Season 1 & 2 on Blu-ray when Amazon had a great deal on them back in December 2010 and had been holding onto them in anticipation of delving into the show. In one way, I'm sorry that I didn't start watching right from the beginning back in 2008, but watching "the marathon way" allowed the entire arc of the series to always be fresh in my mind. I didn't have to worry about certain elements of the story or plot points fading into memory due to the long wait between seasons.

I kind of feel spoiled that I was able to enjoy this show in huge chunks and will now be watching "The Final 16" on a week to week basis. The one good thing about that will be the ability to read, comment and speculate on the direction of the show along with everyone else!

I'm betting that they'll broadcast "The Final 16" in the same manner that 'The Walking Dead' is doing their current season on AMC -- 8 episodes, followed by a two month break, and then the final 8 episodes.

Great show -- ranks among the best series in the history of television.

I don't think there's any question that the final 16 episodes will be broken into two sections. However, I'm guessing they'll spread them out into two seasons in order to spread out the promotional benefit over a longer period of time. Likely we'll get 8 episodes starting in Summer 2012 and the other 8 in Summer 2013.

Any idea when Season 4 might show up on Netflix? Like the critic in the article linked above, I went on a Breaking Bad bender and scarfed up the first three seasons in a week. But I've found nowhere to watch Season 4.

Probably not until close to Season 5 starting so if I were you I'd go to Amazon or iTunes.

Usually, they release the DVDs of previous seasons just before a new season starts*, and I doubt they'd want to cannibalize their DVD sales by having the episodes previously available for viewing on Netflix.

*I've never understood why networks think it's a good idea to wait until a few days before their new season starts to sell DVDs of the previous season. Seems like it would make much more sense to give a little lead time so people who hadn't seen the previous season could have time to buy/rent the DVDs, watch all the episodes, and then be ready to watch the new season when it starts.

I bought Season 4 through Vudu.

    I couldn't wait either.

If there had been a release date set for Season 4, I may have waited -- but since it hadn't been announced yet, I took the plunge.

    Wouldn't...
4 eps into season 3 on netflix and...

Am I supposed to hate Skyler? It sure seemed as soon as the baby was born she started dressing all trampy. And then sleeping with her boss? Am I supposed to sympathize with her for the position Walt put her in?

I hate her. I also don't like the actress cast for Skyler -- I don't think she does a good enough job next to Brian Cranston

She's definitely a polarizing character. My feelings toward her are ambivalent, though I do enjoy and appreciate Anna Gunn's portrayal.

This is just some random thought I had, but I'm going to go ahead and spoilerize anyway:

Has anyone else thought it odd that the only food these people seem to be able to cook is breakfast? Always, always breakfast. It's like they never eat any other meal. Except pizza...when it doesn't wind up on the roof. ;)
