    Tinley...
Good episode... I think the show has really found it's groove now.

The arguments between Hodgiks (or what ever his name was) and the director... very good.

Did you catch the 24 reference? I thought that was kidna slick...

The only thing that bugged me, was the MASSIVE over usage of the video conferencing.

First of all... Why? and Why to that extent?

Especially the late night conversation where one screen in DC was "Bones", then the screen next to it was zoomed in on her face, the next was zoomed in even more on her mouth....

Now I know they have money at that place, but common on... use some common sense...

Nice Mustang though.... No way he got that at a rental fee even close to a "sedan"

That video conferencing scene didn't bother me, since at least it was at the Jeffersonian.

What bothered me was the beautiful set up at...wherever Brennan was in LA. How is it that they have such nice vertically-oriented monitors set up in their lab?

Dammit. I wish TiVO was smarter. ;) I have Veronica Mars one place above Bones in my SP manager, but there are repeats of tonight's VM at various other times. Bones has no repeat. So if TiVo were smarter, it would have chosen another VM and still recorded Bones, despite the ranking. It isn't MY fault, of course. Oh well. :) I'll see Bones when it repeats. And it's corrected for next week at least.

It was nice to see David Boreanaz cruise around LA again in a convertible, even if it was in the daylight.

Where were the scenes for Brennan's hotel filmed? Is that a real hotel? (I liked those red pod things)

And what was with that security guard wanting to kick out the escort? For one thing, how would he know that she was an escort? And second, if she was and she was there with a guest, why would the guard have a problem with it? She was a call-girl (meaning that someone has to request that she appear). If she was at the bar trolling for clients, that'd be one thing...

    Tinley...
Slick in the sense that they slipped it in there so easily and non-shalaunt (sp?)

Plugging their own show on another one of their shows...

You actually see that a lot on the "real life" shows on TLC and Discovery and such.
(with reference to having a "black list" of people not allowed in establishments (bars, clubs, Casinos, hotels, ect)

If she was on a "black-list" as a known prositute, then it is very possible that this hotel wanted to bar access to those people. It is private property after all.

The problem I had, is how she got all the way up there, already had a 5 minute conversation, before the security kicked in.

Most of the times (from the shows on TLC and Discovery), they identify them MUCH quicker and stop them before making it to the hotel.

When we first saw them in a convertible, but hadn't yet seen the car up close I was wondering if it would be the same car.

That was The Standard Hotel in downtown LA.
