Just got my Bolt Vox. It is in a cabinet that is cooled via 4 fans. But I wanted to check the temperature. Online is list----
MENU > SETTINGS > HELP > ACCOUNT & SYSTEM INFO > SYSTEM INFORMATION
    Look for "Internal temperature"

It's not listed. Called support and was told it would not be listed but would show me on the screen if it gets too hot... I think that is India BS.....

    Anyone?

You would be looking for "MBT."

On a Bolt it's called ODT. Sorry, I have a Roamio. But after my line that says MBT: it does say internal temperature. The number is in C. Most Bolt's run 50 to 60C (very) dependent on ambient temperature.

What is the first line? What is the last line? Not the data, just the label. There should also be an entry for remote battery level.

This post displays the ODT. It may be followed by "internal temperature" now.

Won’t find that. It shows on die temperature, ODT, on a Bolt.

So I will not see the current temperature until it's about to die? Sorry gents.. I'm confused.

Have you followed the link in post 7? The displayed temperature is shown in real time.

BTW, you are looking at the temperature as reported by a sensor, assumed to be on an ASIC, which has a large heat sink on top. But I don't know for sure. I am sure it's not from the hard drive.

You were in the right place- just look for ODT.

It's called "ODT" and it's the temperature of the main Broadcom chip. Or so we assume.
