So far my Bolt is doing what I bought it for, DVR OTA.
I'm using my Firestick for everything else. Just started Sling Orange & Blue for my streaming with DVR option.
It would be incredible if the Bolt could DVR my Sling Orange & Blue, but it is what it is.

Looks like my decision was made for me! Says the 1TB sold out.

I was leaning against making the extra investment anyway, but now it's final.

    Random find-

I put a 500gb bolt in my cart and put an Edge in my cart- used the code and it lists them combined for $1,000, a $700 savings. I think this is a glitch in the system. If you put the edge in by itself there is no discount. Too bad I don't want TE 4 (with potential pre-roll ads), would be intriguing to get the device.

yeah if you add a bolt ota to the edge cable dvr - both with lifetime- total cart price is $899. Subtract out the $250 for the Bolt OTA and the Edge cable dvr is $650.

    In the ATL
4k for APPS, which suck on any Tivo. You don't care about Bolt being 4k, trust me.

Random reboots on any Tivo are just part of the deal.

Ours came yesterday was having trouble setting it up gonna call Tivo when I get home here in a bit. I thought the 6 tuner 1TB was cable only but it's OTA/Cable and I think my husband was trying to set it up OTA last night to see what the picture looked like. But after the guide setup and stuff their was an update that we don't think finished it was taking forever and we had a snowy static screen and a black screen going back and forth. He didn't do soemthing right and it was late so we went to bed. But he has our Roamio still hooked up too I think one is Wifi and the other is Ethernet we need to leave Roamio to transfer shows.

There is no Bolt (or other TiVo) with six tuners that supports OTA.

Well that's what I thought. I told my husband that but he said it had a spot in the back for an antenna. I ordered a 6 tuner 1 TB like we have now on the Roamio. He hooked up something to see local channels I thought. I paid $199 the OTA I think was $99. That's Weird now I'm confused. That link says there's a 4 tuner one that supports OTA plus cable. Could I have gotten that one? Cuz I ordered the six tuner 1 6 tuner 1tb cable one.

Please just read & post the model number from the back of the unit. That link above has the answers.

Another clue: Six tuner units have internal power supplies. Four tuner boxes have wall warts. At least for Roamio boxes.

The "antenna" (RF input) is for cable (also OTA for 4-tuner).

You're thinking of Roamio's. All Bolts have wall warts.

Funny enough, I upgraded the new Bolt to 3TB but the 100uF cap to help silence the fan did not work this time. The fan is crazy loud! Luckily, I still had an XS2 fan and USB power adapter (with selectable voltage) - popped that fan in, forced the small cover to snap in over the cable coming out to the USB plug, set it for 9.5v and its whisper quiet. Better yet, my ODT is 50c on average - never peaking over 57c. So now I'm good to go!
