Bolt audio issues

    I have been having a number of issues. I finally thought it was time to go to a 4k setup. I bought a new TV Sony XBR and a Denon receiver. The issue I am having is that when I fast forward video and hit play. The audio, at times drops out. The fix is to change the audio mode on the receiver. I had a similar issue with a Pioneer receiver as well.

    The next issue is odd and may be related. I have a TiVo mini in the kitchen and it is connect by way of a Vonnet wireless ethernet adapter. Ethernet connection is solid and speedy. Watching either live or recorded videos the video will play and the audio will drop out. Honestly, if the network was the issue I would expect the video to break.. The solution for this one is to turn the TV off and back on.

    In both cases I have tried multiple HDMI cables with no changes. The original wireless ethernet adapter was 802.11n. Thought that was the issue so traded up to an adapter that does 802.11ac

    Both very odd and very annoying.

    I am one of those people that refuses to let go of Tivo after 20+ years. Hoping to get some ideas here.
