BET showing Bob Hearts Abishola.
That's gotta be the quickest to syndication I've ever seen. They only filmed twenty episodes the first season before the Covid shutdown.
What do they do, show one a night, and start over every four weeks? Oh well, if it broadens the audience for a funny show, I'm in.
Speaking of which, the new season starts next week. I'll post a bump in the season thread.
syndicated shows are cut for more commercial time.. it's on CBS All Access too.
Rather than syndication, it’s a deal with BET to show encores of CBS shows and take advantage of that CBSViacom synergy.
BET To Air Encore Episodes Of CBS’ ‘The Neighborhood’, ‘Bob ♥ Abishola’, ‘All Rise’ – Deadline
Thanks, that makes more sense than syndicating a 20 episode series.
I really like this show!
It is very well written and the actors do a great job.
though this reminds me of reading about the attempted revivals of Star Trek (which ended up evolving into the movies), because the stations were clamoring for more episodes, since there were only 79.
Must be why Young Sheldon is on TV Land.
