On several other sites, the only way to get rid of serious problems with ads was to install AdBlock. I'm not having problems here except for the fact that some ads appear to be endorsed by members in their posts, when I have to remind myself that's not true. Is there some way to stop the message telling me to turn off AdBlock? I always want it turned off here.

Sometimes a browser plugin will trigger that message. There are other threads in the section about it.

Well, this doesn't make sense. It was green and now it's red with the number 15.

    Now it's green, although I didn't get a warning.

Today, it was green, but I got a warning and had to click. I don't get why it can't be permanent.

What adblocker are you using? I'd switch to UBlock Origin, I've never had problems with whitelisting sites in it (click the shield, click the "whitelist" button and refresh, it's done).

Then again, I'm not sure if there's something with the site specifically - I'm a Club member and just leave the adblocker running
