I still can't fathom how someone hitting with 2 bionic arms can loose against someone that can use only one... It seems that all the arm movements were just using them like clubs.

Speaking of the music, I was surprised to see it was composed by "Wendy & Lisa," just like "Heroes" is.

From the sound of it I was guessing it was the same guy who does BSG (which would seem like a logical guess considering the producers).

I watched the pilot through Unbox on TiVo. Reading through everyone's comments, I pretty much agree with the pacing critique. And that whole rooftop fight was ridiculous! Everytime she blocked with her non-bionic arm, it should've broken in two.

Also, where is this show going?

    1) She will work with the government and fight the other bionic woman
    2) She will flee from the government and fight the other bionic woman
    3) She will bounce around, unsure of where her loyalty lies
    4) She will flee everyone and hideout in the woods with her sister
    5) She will be a superhero fight crime in Metropolis

And why is everyone OK with that one guy having a sexual relationship with the first bionic woman? Wouldn't that have caused him to be reassigned?

I'm going to go ahead and get an SP for this, but I am wary of the direction planned.

It was okay. The fight at the end kinda reminded me of Xena and Callisto.

As a minor annoyance-I hate when shows that are supposedly set in San Francisco are definitely not filmed in San Francisco. Plus-it hardly ever rains here....

Overall I'd say the show is pretty bland.

Yup. pacing was definitely an issue.

In the beginning, it seemed to bounce around a lot, not making a lot of sense as to where it was going. Later it filled in some of the holes, but still could have been much better from a storytelling standpoint.

So, what "part" of her chest did she replace, and why only one part?

I watched the pilot episode too. I am a HUGE fan of The Bionic Woman and Lindsay Wagner. Every single cast member, producer, directors etc... should watch all three seasons of the original Bionic Woman to get a reality check on what the show should be like.

It was totally lame the pilot. No suspense. She didn't question her Bionics and just jumped right in to using them. Its like Alias on Bionics. Too dark.

AND WHERE ARE THE BIONIC NOISES!!!!

It won't last but six episodes if it doesn't improve. Nothing like the way heroes captures you from the first episode.

We wondered the same thing, at my house. Ultimately decided on: bionic nipples.

I was able to watch a version of this over the weekend. I am interested in the show and would like to see more. I'd even like to see more of Starbuck. But then again who wouldn't?

You do read BSG threads here, right? I'd say half the TCF BSG posters could do without any more starbuck.

I loved seeing the Chief...for some reason, it was more strange seeing him outside of BSG than it was to see Kara...

It was also cool seeing Badger again...

No, She was a tennis pro originally.

But she (original) did play using her bionics in a more surprised way instead of the way this show is depicting it.

Why are people bugging because this version of the bionic woman can fight so suddenly? Isn't *everybody* on a tv action show a 12th degree black belt?

Not sure what you are getting at, but they explain it pretty clearly in the pilot. It would be more like someone complaining because neo knew kung fu after he got kung fu training implanted in his brain in the matrix.

By original I meant Sarah, the chick before her who she fought. I didn't Lindsay Wagner.
