Good start. The hour flew by. Loved the train of schemes Chuck put together.

That final scene, the murder reenactment. Thought a car was gonna smoosh him. Don't play with me like that!

I love that Chuck and Axle are now friends...those 2 working together should put the fear of God into anyone.

"they" looked amazing with hair and makeup!

Timely story line at Sparks Steak House which was in the news last week with the mob hit in Jersey. Several news stories mentioned the last hit was indeed at Sparks in the 80s when Paul Castellano was gunned down. Nice re-enactment too :)

I thought the "Hot like Kate Jackson" comment was spot-on. They really were rocking that Charlie's Angel's look.

I wish I could binge this show right now. The wait between episodes is killing me. :)

This is a perfect binge show. I'm strongly considering doing this (although I did watch yesterday's ep live).

I wonder how long it will last. The two of them have a significant difference in their dealings with people. Axe is all about loyalty -- he expects complete loyalty from his people, and he is reluctant to betray any of his people who have not first betrayed him (and he does not easily forgive). Chuck is willing to betray anyone if it will help achieve his goals. So I am wondering who will be the first to betray the other. It is easy to see Chuck doing it. But I can also see Axe doing it because he has not forgiven Chuck and is playing the long game to get his revenge.

Good episode right out the gate. I was momentarily jolted when Chuck and Axe were talking as friends, then I remembered. I also think it is a long-play for both of them, and each probably suspects the other but the alliance works for now. I figured the sultan was playing Ax all along, but the Russian being a part of it surprised me.

Another strong episode. A work of art the way everything came together at the end. The writers are designing a chess match. Between the Kozlov brothers getting screwed and Taylor standing up to Grigor, and the pension fund/Chuck for AG/Police Commissioner plot, just a pleasure to watch it unfold. Loved how, at the end, they were all at the Festival of San Gennaro. It almost felt like an episode of The Sopranos.

Seems like Wendy is getting frustrated with Chuck's one-dimensional Arousal Template.
