Will this be released weekly episode by episode, or all episodes at once, ala House of Cards?

Since it's on Showtime, I'd be surprised if it wasn't released one episode per week.

It's a regular weekly series. Starts two weeks from Sunday (Jan 17), at 10E/9C. 12 episodes.

While chasing down some info on Damian Lewis (Homeland driven), I found a neat 2 season series starring Lewis and Sarah Shahi, titled Life.
If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. If I'm late to the rodeo, sorry.

I noticed it on the Showtime Anytime app on the ATV.

I watched and thought it was just OK. I'll give it another shot.

Life was a great show. Killed before its time.

Also had Christina Hendricks, Donal Logue, Adam Arkin and more. Superbly cast, well-written.

As I recall, it got caught up in the writer's strike or something. Plus very poorly promoted by NBC.

Am I the only one who does not care for D Lewis?
Something about him that bugs me...

I agree, Life was a very good show. It started to get a little "unfocused" towards the end of season 2 IIRC but presumably they were casting around for something to save the ratings by that time. A shame: I was sad to see that one go. As astrohip says, gone before its time.

No, jilter is not the only one.
For me, there are some actors who ruin a show simply by being cast in it.
Damien Lewis is on my list.
I could start a thread.

I thought life was only one season. Maybe I didn't finish it.

The first season was truncated because of the writer's strike; the second was messed up because they lost half their writing staff and because they had to work around Shahi's pregnancy. There were also rumors that the network made them dumb it down towards the end in an effort to stanch the bleeding in the ratings.

Basically, a wonderful show that had a lot of bad luck.

I had forgotten this show when it was first mentioned, but I did like it. I have loved Damien Lewis since Band of Brothers. I did wonder if that was his real hair on this pilot. ;)

Billions has potential. You can see the subplot in if Rhoades, wife will stay with him or her job when the time comes, and how Axe will keep on eye on her.

I saw an interview with Damien Lewis and Paul Giamatti.

The show is written so either character can be the good guy, but I'll give the nod to Rhoades.

Giamatti, for the first time, asked Lewis how he can so easily switch to an American accent. He sticks with speaking in American all the time during the shoot.
