Big Brother 22 All Stars - Monday HoH/Noms (OAD 10/12/2020)

IIRC the Christmas interviews during/post comp seemed to hav her wearing two outfits. I think the emotional crying ones were right afterward and the cheery ones wearing an outfit different that the competition must have been after she collected herself.

The comp looked was too brutal in having to unload all the pumpkins instead of just recovering the ones that fell off. Is that how they did it in the previous years?

 

As usual, just went like chalk. Nothing unexpected. So the season won't have any surprises at all. Worst, most boring season I've ever watched. They really need to shake something up for next season.

 

Where is the "neighbor" Dr Will ????

Nice to see Nicole win a comp. Poor Enzo really couldn't handle it.

Had to feel sorry for Christmas getting that close, but you could see it coming. Can't imagine how sore I'd be even doing that for a few minutes.

yes, and that's what make this comp in particular so difficult, but there are other comps designed this way, like the stacking & balance/hanging comps.

 

I always wonder about the diary room and comps. You see people regularly talking about how they are doing in the comp, I needed to do this, the balls were bouncing whatever, but how do they keep it together enough to smile through that, knowing they lost? It just seems like a very weird dynamic.

 

When they're interviewing you, they remind you what they want to see. If you stray (stop smiling, whatever), they will get you back on track. It's kinda difficult, but when you're in there for three months, I'm sure it gets easier.

 

Probably also helps that most of 'em are sociopaths

 

The only reason I know anything about this is because I was on the last episode of AOL Gold Rush back about 2006. It was a Mark Burnett joint, and I was one of the final people to qualify in a "Bonus Round" after the big prizes were awarded. I felt like I was on Survivor, with the "interview in an odd but scenic location" and being stuck in a place (hotel room) with no phones and no magazines. I had to sign my life away ($5 million penalty if I revealed the winner before it was aired) and we were only playing for $50,000 (chump change, I know ). It was essentially the low-rent version of any Burnett game show, but with all of the behind-the-scenes bells and whistles.

No, I didn't win, but I didn't expect to given my competition. I wish I could find the video of our final game.
