Have we seen Raj's sister before? I didn't get why she was instantly hot for Leonard. The back story didn't really justify it other than to explain the agreement Leonard and Walowitz had to stay away from her.
I thought their bedroom chat revealed that this was a regular hookup when she came to town. Did I misunderstand?
Glad this was the last Pennyless episode. It doesn't seem the same without her.
The very last moment of the show was the best, I replayed it a couple of times, Leonard sent a huge chunk of that crushed ice flying across the room. I swear Jim Parsons was genuinely surprised!
This was my assumption as well.
I got that too.
This was so incredibly funny last night. Didn't even miss Kaley.
Sheldon: "this cream will even work on non-mucosal body parts". Yikes!
I thought this was the first truly funny ep of the season. The first few have a elicited a few chuckles at most, but this ep had me giggling.
I really don't miss Penny. I thought I would, but I don't.
What was the last moment? TiVo always cuts it off on this show.
ETA: I was also a little puzzled that it was never mentioned that Raj can speak in front of his sister. I mean, it's logical, but it seems like there'd be a good joke there somewhere.
What, no Halloween-themed ep?
I didn't get that either. I know he's supposed to me vocally immobilized in front of women, and I assume that would include his sister...
This was too bad.
His sister isn't a woman, she's just his sister.
Same with his mother...he can talk to her.
He can't talk in front of women because of the sex implied. If he couldn't talk in front of his sister, that would be just oogie.
I didn't think it was weird that he could talk in front of his sister. What was weird was my immediate resposnse was, "Hey, he's talking in front of a woman without a glass of alcohol!"
The fact that would register first and foremost was funny to me.
I brought up the same thing
Dude.. I'm not hot for my sister. Gross.
A very funny episode!
Actually, my favorite line was when Leonard read Sheldon's fabricated note from the red-headed Irish barmaid. "Would you be interested in joining me for coitus?"
LOL! With all of Sheldon's overthinking he was totally oblivious to the fact that anyone who knows him would know he wrote that!
I thought it was a very weak episode, everyone's lines just fell flat with me. Pinky swear is funny? I was wishing Sheldon would fall into a pit and be eaten by a grue.
Best unintentional joke of all.... "Caprica Night"!!!!
