returns March 5. Yay!
I love this show.
Possibly my favorite show
Excellent show. Looking forward to S4.
Yep my DVR picked it up. I thought without Louie CK it would not be as good. I was wrong. Pamela Adlon is awesome.
Last season was without Louie CK as well.
I was actually referring to last season as I have not watched this episode yet LOL
I thought last season really suffered in the later episodes. I haven't seen any of this season yet.
A bonus episode.
What a gift for my insomnia.
I was watching last week's episode of This is Us last night with my wife and I was surprised to see Pamela Adlon show up as Randall's therapist. I wonder if she'll have a recurring role since he clearly needs a lot of therapy. They only showed her from the back until the very last scene like it was supposed to prevent a spoiler or something. What's funny is that I had just finished watching the first half of the season premiere episode of Better Things right before we started watching This is Us while we were having dinner.
I see Louis C.K.'s name in the credits as one of the producers so I assume he's still involved with the show.
CKs only involvement is to pick up his paycheck.
They only mention him as co-creator.
Good episodes but her relationship with her bro is a little weird. Reminded me of Joile and her brother.
I hope they have that quinceañeras for her daughter. Should be a riot.
That’s not her brother. Her brother is played by Kevin Pollack.
Ah OK, I always assumed is was her other brother. They're best friends. So not so weird then...LOL
Kind of like with LOST. There is a writer named Jeffrey Lieber. He wrote a draft of the pilot before JJ Abrams and Lindelof got involved. Abrams and Lindelof completely scrapped Lieber's script and wrote their own. Yet because Lieber had started the project, he was credited as a co-creator for every single episode, even though he had zero involvement with the creation of any episode of the show.
The end of episode 4 was entertainingly really uncomfortable
Anybody watch last night. It was the Quinceañera (Batceañera) episode. It was great as usual. The awkwardness of the girls dad was so palpable. And the littleless one (who I love) whispered something in his ear that not even the captions revealed what it was. And the intro of Frankie doing that famous Jerry Lewis bit was great.
And I guess Frankie is coming out?
I would have said "clueless" instead of "awkward". And Leroy Anderson instead of Jerry Lewis.
But yes, it was a great bit.
I'm so glad to have discovered this show.
The season finale was excellent.
I loved Xander cashing the check at the end. Clearly the kids are realizing they don't need their dad. I for one hope Xander disappears now that he's been paid off.
I didn't understand what happened with the check?
Ok, I did some googling and now I understand, Hulu will not let you rewind or fast forward this episode, if you do it shows scenes from the previous episode, weird.
