Yeah... that went down real clean..

This was some quality stuff. Oh man.. Season 6.. It's gonna be great. We get more Lalo. And Nacho. That confrontation will be something.

I didn't realize it was a season finale. I'm like, "waaa? There's no preview for next week?!?"

Good stuff. One really does not want to mess with Lalo.

Nacho is burned. The next time him and Lalo meet, someone will die.

Kim seemed dead serious about taking down Howard.

Not crazy about this path they're taking Kim to. She is better than that and even Jimmy knows it.

The only one that comes out on top from the Lalo/Nacho confrontation is Gus. Should be a very interesting final season.

I’m so glad Lalo survives into the final season.

So, when Lalo says to the assassin that he knows who gave the order, the obvious choice is Fring, but I think he believes it’s Don Eladio (or Juan Bolsa)

They have established that Kim does have a good amount of Slippin Jim in her as well. So I don't find it to be out of character.

I agree. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's out of character for her. Yes, she likes to help poor people. But she also likes to screw with well off/rich people and jerks. And she has had no qualms about breaking the law (altering the blue prints was her idea.) I really like her, but she's no lily white being drug into the dark by Jimmy. They enable each other.

And what a finale. This was a great season and I'm sorry it's over.

Why is the Sandpiper settlement being held up? Why do they need to take out Howard and HHM to get their cut of the settlement?

HHM is slow playing the settlement to increase their legal fees. Jimmy does not get paid until it settles. So if he can force Howard to settle against HHM's interest then he can get his money now instead of later.

That's the part I was missing.

Now I see where Kim will get the $125k for a dust filter for a Hoover MaxExtract PressurePro model 60. :)

I don't think Kim is going to need an extraction. Jimmy was still safe as Saul when BB started so there's no reason to think Kim wouldn't be safe then, too. I think she left Saul and ABQ on her own and that's why we didn't see her in BB.

Sure, but what if the plot against Howard goes sideways and Kim (but not Jimmy) gets caught/picked up by the cops/feds? It's not extraction to escape the cartels, it's to escape the law (just like Saul did in BB).

I think Lalo comes back to the U.S. and kills her.

I know I’m in the minority but I wanted a little more closure at the end of this season. Now we have to wait another year to find out what happens with Lalo? I can’t take it!

Looking forward to the biggest Slippin Jimmy caper ever next season.

There are 101 ways Kim's effort to come up with something "unforgivable" could blow back on her. HHM is a big firm. Something will trip her up. Maybe even Saul.

Damn.... Excellent finale to the season. Lalo is going to be out for blood when it returns. While he probably suspects Nacho of letting the assasins in the compound, does he suspect he's working for Fring?

Kim is just as bad if not worse than Jimmy. IOW since we really don't see any of Saul's personal/private life in BB maybe him and Kim are still married in BB but since we don't delve into that aspect of Saul's life there's no need to see her or even mention her.

I think they're too important to each other to split up.

I think he believes it’s Don Eladio who just upped Nacho, (or possibly Juan Bolsa).

I don't see how Gus comes out on top. Lalo is going to know that Gus had something to do with the assassination attempt.
Agreed. Tony Dalton has been amazing in this role and I'd like to think the writers originally planned for it to be a relatively small role but once they saw how he was killing it, they decided to keep him around for the final season.
I don't see why he'd think it's Don Eladio. Eladio benefits from both the Salamancas and Gus and would have no motive to take out Lalo. It's Juan Bolsa who is backing Gus and is getting upstaged by Lalo. So I suspect that Lalo either thinks it's Juan Bolsa or Gus (or more likely, both of them).
I don't think they're slow-playing the settlement to increase fees. They're just trying to get the biggest possible settlement they can, which is their duty on behalf of their clients, and that typically happens right before a scheduled trial. So if Sandpiper has previously offered $26 million, HHM must feel like if they keep pushing toward trial, the offer will improve. A reputable law firm isn't going to turn down a settlement offer if they think it's the best offer that will be available. And frankly, the lawyers are entitled to 33% of the total settlement, with probably 40% to HHM, 40% to Davis and Main, and 20% to Jimmy. So the number of billable hours HHM spends on the case isn't going to increase their fees.
