It has a keypad rather than a touch screen, but I agree it's very thin for a 2003 phone.

In 2003 this was my phone.

Yup we have no idea if Gilligan ever plans to jump to Omaha full time or if the series will end before then. I guess I would just like more plot where I don't know the outcome ahead of time. It's been fun for awhile with BCS, seeing Jimmy turning into Saul but I'm ready for it to move ahead (and again, that may never happen).

So maybe it's obvious to some people, but is the assumption that Jimmy McGill is still licensed as a lawyer and just practicing law DBA "Saul Goodman"? Or do we think he changed his identity, and took the bar exam again (and somehow faked his legal education) and is practicing/licensed as Saul Goodman?

He's in the same city so I don't think the whole fake identity/retake the bar exam thing would work.

It depends on if the Germans came to the United States under their real names, or was the entire thing done with fake passports, etc...

If they used their real names, and all of a sudden they all disappeared, I think they could at least trace them to ABQ

I don't think they flew into ABQ. Maybe Phoenix or even further away. The "vaguely European" guy rode with Mike for a few hours at least.

You see how Mike treats his crew in BB. Unless they really screw up and endanger the job or people around him he is going to protect them not kill them just because.

Right, they'd know they landed in New Mexico (assuming that's where they landed!), but it's not that small a state, and I suspect a fast-food chicken manager would be pretty far down on the list of suspects...

But again, the same reasons that make it plausible for Gus to kill the workers also make it pretty unnecessary. They'll go back to Germany, possibly with stories of building an underground bunker...somewhere...for...someone. For all they know, it's some rich paranoid doomsday prepper's zombie apocalypse shelter. I'm not sure that kind of chatter in Germany is going to raise many red flags in the US, much less new Mexico, much less traceable to Gus.

I wonder if all that extra space in the dorm warehouse will eventually be used to hold the material that comes out of the bunker.

It's not Mike's choice to make.

    Interesting thought.

I just shrugged it off as "Gus had access to a ridiculously huge warehouse, so he'll use it to house the workers."

But more likely is that he sent Mike out to procure the space, and Mike wouldn't get a space 5 times too big unless there was a need for the extra space.

This...so much, this! And, really, if you time the unloading the pallet scene, it's really not that long. Plus there are nuances to each trip to notice with Jimmy and the interior of the salon. If you didn't appreciate this episode, then you are definitely not enjoying what makes BCS so good...
