IMHO ... and many others who have watched it already .....

.. the funny thing of course is that its an episode which stands alone, i.e. it really dosn't have much to do with the overall Doctor Who story ... its more like a Twilight Zone story ....

.. its written by the guy that wrote Coupling ... and it really is a keeper.

    Just a heads up !!!!

I second the recommendation. So many times you hear about how scary Doctor Who is, about children hiding behind the sofa, etc. Well, this is the first Who I've seen that really delivers on that score. I'm not ashamed to say I screamed at one point. :D

    Steven Moffat is a god.

Yeah, Blink was the best Doctor Who episode of the current series. Can't wait to see it again.

I didn't even know Doctor Who was airing on Sci-Fi - I just started watching it on BBC-America.

So - where does tonite's episode on Scit Fi ("Blink") fit into what I'm watching on BBC-America?

We're only up to the second episode with David Tennant...

(and OK if Blink is the second episode and I watched it already - oooops in advance - I already deleted it.)

SciFi is showing the third season, BBCA the second. (I have already seen the second season so I am only watching Torchwood on BBCA right now.)

If you are currently on BBCA, then you are about 2 seasons behind SCI-FI.

1 & 1/2 You are on 2nd show with Tennant, SciFi is about 9 into Season 3 (2nd with Tennant).

    I liked it but I can't say "Best" - can't say it wasn't either.

Fantastic episode. I'm making my wife watch it when she gets home. Everytime she's sat down to watch an episode with me it's not been one of the better ones (for example the last one she watched was the Christmas Episode leading into Season 3 - a little cheesy), so she doesn't get why I like it - this should change her mind.

    Wow....

I own all of Coupling on DVD, and the previous Doctor Who eps that were done by Steven Moffat are some of my favorites as well. I hadn't heard of Jekyll before, but I just added it to the top of my Netflix Queue.

Great episode. I think it was one of the best Doctor Who's so far. At first I though it was a stand alone episode without the doctor and Martha but I was wrong. They were in the past. Very creepy.

I saw this episode when it originally aired... and it was a joy to watch it again.. it really is one of the best of this last season.

Sally Sparrow is great... too bad she didn't make it to companion status.. she was my top choice :(
