Meh. I watched the pilot, didn't think the premise was any good so I deleted the SP. I guess I can netflix the old ones which I watched once but looked like it devloped into an SF?Fantasy show.

I think the old one was getting replayed on one of the cable channels.

Even if it is, you're likely missing ~5-10 minutes of the old episodes for more commercials. Though ONE possible benefit of replays is that they MIGHT have less music replaced, if this is the type of show that likely has music replaced.

(e.g. at least according to wikipedia or wherever I read it, WKRP in syndication had syndicated-cuts but WITHOUT replaced music for a long time on some stations.)

I am surprised. I usually really enjoy the mindless CW shows that are designed for people 20 years younger than me. I love the Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Arrow, Hart of Dixie and even ANTM. (And by mindless I also mean entertaining. Not meant as an insult)

But Beauty and the Beast is so very, very bad. Plus isn't it getting like a .6 share in the ratings? So it can't just be me that finds the show horrible and unwatchable.

How can they order more episodes? Just really shocked at this bit of info.

The problem is that a .6 rating isn't all that different from the ratings for the rest of the stuff on The CW. I think a new episode of Gossip Girl got a .3 a few days ago.

Also, The CW is going for a different target demo than the normal broadcast networks. They're focused mostly on women 18-34. The .6 ratings numbers you see in the press are for all adults 18-49. I'll bet their numbers look much better in comparison to their competition when they look only at the women 18-34 numbers.
